Sleep in Heavenly Peace to have bed build on Saturday, February 22 in Easley

By Karen Brewer, Publisher & Editor

Volunteers with Sleep in Heavenly Peace – adults and children — will gather in the Lowes parking lot in Easley at 9 a.m. Saturday, February 22 to build 20 beds for local children in need. Volunteers will sand, drill, assemble, stain, and dry beds.

Anyone who is interested in joining them may sign up on the Golden Volunteer app or by clicking here. No experience is needed. All tools are supplied.

Several hundred children in Pickens County now have beds of their own, thanks to the volunteers with Sleep in Heavenly Peace who have donated their time and also thanks to those who have donated funds and materials.
