Sabrina Greenlee to read from new memoir at Clemson

Clemson Libraries and the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts will host an evening with Sabrina Greenlee Wednesday, March 5, at 7 p.m. at the Brooks Center Recital Hall (room 117). Greenlee, the mother of NFL All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and the CEO of S.M.O.O.O.T.H., shares her journey as a survivor of domestic violence to becoming a champion of healing and empowerment in her new memoir, “Grant Me Vision.”
Greenlee is a distinguished community activist, author, and acclaimed inspirational speaker. A champion for women’s empowerment, her life is a powerful testament to resilience, faith, and personal transformation. Overcoming immense adversity — ranging from teenage motherhood to surviving a brutal assault that left her visually impaired — Greenlee has emerged as a force for positive change, inspiring countless individuals to rise above their circumstances.
In her debut memoir, Grant Me Vision, Greenlee chronicles her extraordinary journey, offering a compelling narrative of survival and strength. Her work has touched lives globally, as she continues to speak at high-profile events, empowering others to reclaim their worth and heal from trauma.
