City of Pickens hosts Appalachian Folk Festival

The 2024 Pickens Appalachian Folk Festival was held in downtown Pickens, with artisan vendors on Main Street and music at the Pickens Amphitheater. Performing on Saturday, November 2 were members of The Sweet Potato Pie Kids, part of the Young Appalachian Musicians (YAM) program, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Creekwater Collective (also part of the YAM program) from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Tigertown Roots Clemson University Bluegrass Ensemble from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., The Wilder Flower (two past members of the YAM program) from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Spare Parts Bluegrass Band from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
