wishes to share this story written those many years ago. Country Santa is still very much a part of the present, helping local families at Christmas time. For 2024, the many drop-off sites for toys include Pickens Middle School, the Pickens Village Library, and Liberty Elementary School.

Easley Police and Fire Departments to host free Pictures with Santa on Sunday, December 15 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Easley's Christmas Parade of Lights will be held Saturday, December 14 at 6 p.m.
The Dacusville Christmas Parade will be held Saturday, December 14 at 2 p.m.
Santa comes to Easley, delivering toys and Christmas cheer, on Wednesday, December 11 and Tuesday, December 17
Liberty's Holly Jolly Christmas Parade will be held Saturday, December 7 at 6 p.m.
Six Mile's Christmas parade will be held on Saturday, December 7 at 10:30 a.m.
Rock Springs Baptist Church in Easley to hold annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, December 7 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A Christmas Open House will be held at the historic Hagood-Mauldin House on Friday, December 6 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Event is sponsored by the Pickens County Historical Society and Pickens County 250 Committee and will include music by Dr. Marianne Holland, Carolyn Yarborough, and children from Eastside Baptist Church in Liberty and Smith Chapel Church in Pickens, and Santa Claus and his sleigh will be available for photographs.
The Pickens Christmas Parade will be held Friday, December 6 at 7 p.m., with Betty McDaniel as the Grand Marshal. Click here for details.
Central to celebrate Christmas on Friday, December 6: special music and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus at 5 p.m., tree lighting at 6 p.m., and Christmas parade at 6:30 p.m. Grand Marshals for the parade will be Chaz Paxton and the D.W. Daniel Lions Pride Marching Band.
