The Hagood-Mauldin House/Irma Morris Museum of Fine Arts is open for free tours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. the third Saturday of each month from April through October. Private tours for groups can be scheduled by calling 864-421-4771. The Hagood-Mauldin House site also includes gardens, including a rose garden. The Pickens County Historical Society and the Pickens County 250 Committee host Christmas Open House at the historic Hagood-Mauldin House on Friday, December 6, prior to the Pickens Christmas Parade, with music by Dr. Marianne Holland, Carolyn Yarborough, and children from Eastside Baptist Church in Liberty and Smith Chapel Church in Pickens. A Christmas Open House will be held at the historic Hagood-Mauldin House in Pickens on Friday, December 6 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Event is sponsored by the Pickens County Historical Society and the Pickens County 250 Committee and will include music by Dr. Marianne Holland, Carolyn Yarborough, and children from Eastside Baptist Church in Liberty and Smith Chapel Church in Pickens, and Santa Claus and his sleigh will be available for free photographs.
