Hagood-Mauldin House's Christmas Open House will be Friday, December 6 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
A Christmas Open house, an evening of music, cheer, and festive delight, will be held at the historic Hagood-Mauldlin House, 104 North Lewis Street in Pickens, the evening of Friday, December 6, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the Pickens County Historical Society and the Pickens County 250 Committee.
Docents for the Hagood-Mauldin House will be available to share the house’s history.
From 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., Dr. Marianne Holland and Mrs. Carolyn Yarborough, members of the Fort Prince George Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, will provide music, Holland playing the piano and Yarborough singing Christmas songs, in the music room of the house.
From 5:00 p.m. to 5:20 p.m., the kids choir of Eastside Baptist Church in Liberty will sing, and from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Children of Promise of Smith Chapel Church in Pickens will sing.
Santa Claus and his sleigh will be available on the front lawn for photographs.
