Central to hold Independence Day celebration on Friday, July 3 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Town of Central will hold an Independence Day celebration on Friday, July 3 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Bolick Field in downtown Central.
Enjoy free Icees and enter a hot dog eating contest sponsored by the Depot Dog and a blackberry pie contest. Gift cards will be available for first, second, and third place in both contests.
The fun will also include music, games, prizes, a patriotic kids’ bike parade around the ballfield track, and the Central Fire Department’s Splash Zone with their fire truck from 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Everything is free. Tell your neighbors. Afterwards, go to Clemson to watch the fireworks near the old Y Beach at dark.
