EVENT POSTPONEMENT NOTICE | NEW DATE: OCTOBER 10
Our community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of Cruz Ellenburg, and our thoughts remain with his family and everyone whose life he touched. With his funeral services taking place this Saturday, we have made the decision to postpone both the 3rd Annual Lip Sync Battle and our final Rock at the Clock concert, originally scheduled for September 26.
The Ellenburg family has been a cherished part of our Easley Parks and Recreation family for many years. As we navigate this difficult time together, we want to ensure that our community, staff, and event participants have the opportunity to be present for the family and support one another.
While we were looking forward to bringing our community together for an evening of music and entertainment, we believe that supporting one another during times of loss is far more important.
Both events have been rescheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2026.
3rd Annual Lip Sync Battle | 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Rock at the Clock featuring Tailgate Homeboys | 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Old Market Square Amphitheater
Thank you to our performers, sponsors, community partners, and everyone who has supported these events. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and look forward to coming together on October 10.
Please continue to keep the Ellenburg family, Cruz’s teammates, coaches, classmates, friends, and the entire Pickens community in your thoughts and prayers.
