SCDOT announces reopening of SC 133 bridge over Crowe Creek
The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) announced on March 12, 2026 the successful replacement and reopening of the SC 133 bridge over Crowe Creek in Pickens County.
“In just six months, SCDOT and its partners worked closely to accelerate the delivery of a stronger, safer bridge to support decades of future travel for the Pickens community,” a statement issued by SCDOT read. “SCDOT appreciates the patience of residents in the area and encourages drivers to use caution as traffic patterns return to normal.”
