Pickens Appalachian Folk Festival to be held October 24-25 at Hagood Mill Historic Site

 

Get ready for two unforgettable days of Appalachian music, heritage, and celebration October 24-25, 2025 at the Hagood Mill Historic Site. Get ready for fiddles, food, and artisan crafts. Admission to the festival is free.

 

Here is the official band lineup for the 3rd annual Pickens Appalachian Folk Festival.

 

Friday, October 24:

 

Big Eyes Parker – A powerhouse blues and roots performer, blending Appalachian storytelling with swampy grooves and soulful energy.

 

Swamp Rabbit Bluegrass Band – Upstate SC’s own bluegrass veterans bringing traditional harmonies and high-energy string picking.

 

Saturday, October 25:

 

Pretty Little Goat – A modern string band from Brevard, NC, weaving old-time tradition with fresh, original tunes.

 

Creekwater Collective – Talented young musicians preserving Appalachian music through the Young Appalachian Musicians program.

 

Bailey George and the Hit Paraders – Serving up vintage country and rockabilly flair with 1950s twang and honky-tonk energy.

 

Bluegrass and Company – Local crowd favorites known for family-friendly, toe-tapping bluegrass with heart and soul.

 

Wolf Moon String Band
