Jenna Huggins, Miss Clemson 2026, will compete in the 2026 Miss South Carolina Competition, to be held June 13-20 in Columbia.

A native of Charleston, South Carolina, she is one of 39 young women competing for the state title, currently held by Sarah Kay Wrenn, Miss South Carolina 2025. Huggins will vie for scholarships to further her education while elevating her community service initiative and serving as a statewide ambassador.

As she prepares to showcase her communication skills, talent, and personal style on stage at the Township Auditorium, Huggins continues to advance her community service initiative “More Than a Smile”, which focuses on expanding access to oral health education and preventive care in underserved communities. In her role as Miss Clemson, she has been actively engaged in outreach, events, and advocacy efforts supporting this cause.

“For nearly 90 years, the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization has helped young women grow as leaders, advocates, and changemakers,” said Chaz Ellis, President and Co-Executive Director. “This experience gives delegates the opportunity to develop confidence, communication skills, and a platform for impact that extends far beyond the stage.”

Founded in 1936, the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization is one of the largest providers of scholarships to young women in the state. Each year, delegates compete for more than $200,000 in scholarships made possible through local programs and the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Foundation, while contributing thousands of hours of community service.

“The Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization has empowered generations of young women to lead, serve, and pursue their goals,” said Morgan Nichols Scarnecchia, Miss South Carolina 2019-2020 and Co-Executive Director. “Our delegates represent the future of communities across South Carolina, and their impact reaches far beyond competition week.”

The organization operates within the Miss America Opportunity, emphasizing individuality, personal development, communication skills, and physical and mental wellness.

The 2026 competition will take place at Columbia’s Township Auditorium, with preliminary events held throughout the week and finals airing live on Sinclair Broadcast Group stations across the state on June 20. For more information, visit miss-sc.org.
