Grace in the Wilderness will host the Empowered Jesus Girl Teen Conference at East Pickens Baptist Church on Friday, February 27 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for an evening designed to inspire and equip girls in 5th grade and up to pursue the life God has set before them with courage, purpose, and joy. 

This year, Grace in the Wilderness is honored to welcome Ciara Dierking as the guest speaker. Ciara is a quad amputee following a sudden illness in 2023, yet her story is one of incredible strength, faith, and unwavering hope. She is a devoted mother of two boys, a talented artist, and a living testimony of God’s sustaining grace through hardship. Her message encourages girls to trust the Lord boldly, even when life takes unexpected turns. Formerly a quiet and reserved person, Ciara now uses her story to speak candidly about suffering and finding purpose after life-altering loss. Her story encourages girls of every age.

This event is for girls 5th grade & up. The event cost is $5 per participant so we can bless Ciara and her family with medical and ministry support. (If financial hardship is a concern, scholarships are available. We never want cost to prevent a girl from attending.) Ciara will also have t-shirts, hoodies, and artwork available for purchase from her Always Grateful Threads Ministry. You can view the shirts and Ciara’s story at AlwaysGratefulThreads.com.

Join us as we gather to celebrate the purpose God has for each girl. We’ll kick off the night with food, fellowship, and photo booths, then move into praise and worship, followed by an impactful testimony from Ciara Dierking. East Pickens Baptist Church is located at 2244 Gentry Memorial Highway in Pickens.
