As The Chronicle publicized in early spring, Easley Presbyterian Church will host a Star-Spangled Tea from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 20 as part of celebrating the United States’ 250th birthday this year.
The four-course, seated and served, English style afteroon tea, open to the women of Easley First Presbyterian Church and their friends, will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Easley Presbyterian Church fellowship hall, located at 201 South First Street. Hats and other finery will enhance the fun fellowship as ladies chat, taste, and relax with pretty china in the decorated tea room.
Tickets are $20 each or $100 for a table of six, or $130 for a table of eight. Proceeds will benefit The Pickens County Advocacy Center.
