Brushy Creek Baptist Church hosts bed build for Sleep in Heavenly Peace
Brushy Creek Baptist Church in Easley hosted a bed build for Sleep in Heavenly Peace on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Twenty beds for children in need were built by 46 volunteers.
More than 735 beds have been built for local children since the beginning of Sleep in Heavenly Peace.
The organization is currently in need of girls’ comforter sets and pillows. Purchases can be made from Sleep in Heavenly Peace’s Amazon wish list, or purchases may be made locally and dropped off at Easley First Baptist Church’s front office.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace says it best. “Every donation, every build day, and every volunteer have made it possible for children to lay their heads down in a bed of their very own. The need is real. The support is overwhelming. Together, we are changing lives one bed at a time.”
