Blue RIdge Electric Cooperative announced today, June 24, 2025, that, due to the extreme heat on Tuesday, June 24 and Wednesday, June 25, Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative has waived the peak demand charge for all members on the EmPOWERment rate for these two days.
