Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative to waive peak charge on Sunday, February 1
Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative announced on Friday, January 30, 2026 that, due to extreme cold forecast for Sunday, February 1, the 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. February 1 peak charge would be waived for its customers.
Weather forecasters are predicting several inches of snow to fall on Saturday, January 31.
