Art show featuring art from The Hiding Place and the Pickens County Youth Board to be held Thursday, October 22 at The Mill Church as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month
An art show featuring art from The Hiding Place and the Pickens County Youth Board will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at The Mill Church, located at 158 Woodrow Street in Pickens.
During Domestic Violence Awareness Month and National Youth Substance Use Prevention Month, The Hiding Place is joining with the Pickens County Youth Board to create an unfiltered art showcase for the community to enjoy. This showcase will celebrate authentic expression, resilience, and the power of being heard. The Youth Board is accepting art from youth in the community, and The Hiding Place will be working with survivors in the program to create art pieces that showcase their stories unfiltered. Survivors who want to submit an art piece may email Breann at Breann@TheHidingPlacePickens.org. All art pieces will be reviewed.
