Join the Pickens County Museum of Art & History for an art reception on Saturday, August 9 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. featuring complimentary food and drinks as we celebrate Chuck Greene. Enjoy great art, good company, and refreshments—all are welcome!
Greene grew up in Appalachia, where he worked his Grandmother’s apple orchard with his father and sisters. Picking up a paintbrush in the early eighties, he found both his gift and passion. Building his family and career, time for painting was limited. As a real passion goes, he picked the brush back up in retirement as if there had never been a decades-long hiatus. The result has brought joy to friends and family.
The Pickens County Museum of Art & History is located at 307 Johnson Street at the corner of Highway 178 in Pickens.
