Hagood Mill Historic Site invites the public to experience a day of live music, Appalachian heritage, artisan demonstrations, and family-friendly fun during the annual Americana Folk Festival on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Set against the scenic backdrop of the historic 1845 grist mill, the festival celebrates the rich musical traditions and cultural heritage of Appalachia through a full day of Americana and folk performances, traditional crafts, food vendors, and hands-on demonstrations.

This year’s festival lineup features an outstanding group of regional Americana and folk artists, including:

• Helen Campbell

• Angela Easterling and Friends

• Appalachian Son

• Daniel Yother and Friends

Visitors will enjoy live music throughout the day while exploring artisan vendors, traditional Appalachian craft demonstrations, and the working historic grist mill producing fresh stone-ground grits and cornmeal available for purchase onsite.

Festival attendees can also experience demonstrations of blacksmithing, weaving, and other traditional mountain crafts that help preserve and celebrate the region’s Appalachian heritage.

Admission to the Americana Folk Festival is $5 for ages 10 and older. Children ages 9 and under are admitted free.

“Hagood Mill has long been a gathering place for preserving and sharing Appalachian music and traditions,” said organizers of the event. “The Americana Folk Festival continues that mission by bringing together talented musicians, artisans, and families for a day that celebrates the culture and spirit of our mountain communities.”

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and spend the day enjoying live entertainment, local food vendors, and the unique atmosphere of one of South Carolina’s premier historic sites.
