City of Pickens announces Meagan Nations as new City Clerk/Human Resources Director effective June 15

The City of Pickens has announced that, during the City’s Work Session on Monday, April 27, 2026, Meagan Nations was officially appointed in a dual role as City Clerk and Human Resources Director, effective June 15. She will serve as the official record keeper for the city, supporting City Council operations, while also overseeing Human Resources functions that support the city’s employees.
Nations is a lifelong resident of Pickens County and served eight years as Clerk to Pickens County Council. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Anderson University in 2024.
