Liberty & Legacy event to be held at the Captain Kimberly Hampton Memorial Library on Sunday, March 29: Learn about the Francis Marion papers from Rick Wise, Executive Director of the South Carolina Battleground Preservation Trust

Come to the Captain Kimberly Hampton Memorial Library in Easley to explore the stories and legacies that continue to shape our nation. The third and final program in the Liberty & Legacy series with Rick Wise will cover the Francis Marion Papers, the original documents of General Francis “Swamp Fox” Marion.
 
Wise is the Executive Director of the South Carolina Battleground Preservation Trust and is a recognized authority on Revolutionary War sites throughout the state. A U.S. Army veteran and trained military historian, he plays a leading role in The Liberty Trail project and regularly provides battlefield interpretation, public programs, and preservation guidance. His clear, engaging approach makes complex history easy to understand and unforgettable.
