SCDOT reopens SC 183 bridges over Twelve Mile River and Gregory Creek
The South Carolina Department of Transportation officially announced on November 19, 2025 that SCDOT has reopened the SC 183 bridges over Twelve Mile River and Gregory Creek in Pickens County ahead of schedule.
These bridges were closed in September of 2024. Drivers can expect intermittent lane closures as crews work to complete final punch list items on the bridge.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the work zone.
