Author Charles Hood to sign copies of his recently released book Looking for Space: My Pickens Journey at Hagood Mill Historic Site on Saturday, November 15

Charles Hood, author of the recently released book Looking for Space: My Pickens Journey, will sign copies at the Hagood Mill Historic Site on Saturday, November 15, 2025, the same day as the Hagood Mill’s annual Native American celebration, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

Books are available for sale at the Hagood Mill Historic Site as well as through Amazon, and proceeds will benefit the Ryan Hood Memorial Scholarship Fund, which provides camp scholarships in the Young Appalachian Musicians (YAMs) program and is named for his late son. Hood will sign copies of Looking for Space: My Pickens Journey from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
