Grand opening of the Heritage Pavilion at Hagood Mill Historic Site is set for 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 12 with ribbon cutting and celebration

Hagood Mill Historic Site is proud to announce the grand opening of its newest addition, the Heritage Pavilion, on Friday, September 12, 2025 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

 

The public is invited to join us for this special occasion as we cut the ribbon and officially welcome this beautiful new event space to our historic grounds. Guests will enjoy a celebratory evening featuring delicious food and the oppotunity to explore the Pavilion, which offers a rustic yet elegant setting perfect for community events, private gatherings, and cultural celebrations. 

 

“The Heritage Pavilion is a wonderful new venue that enhances our ability to host events while preserving the charm and history of the Hagood Mill Historic Site,” said Ryan Ferrell, Board of Directors, Hagood Mill Foundation. “We look forward to sharing it with the community and showcasing all it has to offer.”

 

The Pavilion’s design blends seamlessly with the historic setting, making it a versatile space for weddings, concerts, festivals, and other special events. Its creation reflects Hagood Mill’s ongoing commitment to preserving history while providing modern amenities for visitors.

 

Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend.

 

Hagood Mill’s Heritage Pavilion is located at 129 Hagood Mill Road, off Highway 178, in Pickens.
