Dr. Diane Vecchio, author and retired professor, to present program on Sarlin family
Dr. Diane Vecchio, a retired professor and an author, will present a program, A History of Jewish Entrepreneurs in Upstate South Carolina, at 5 p.m. on Monday, August 4 at the Sarlin Library in Liberty. The program will share about Ralph and Shirley Sarlin, for whom the library is named and who donated land and initial money toward the building of the library.
