Otherwise, paid advertising is not required in The Chronicle for promotion of local non-profit organizations and promotion of free events or events by charitable organizations that are fundraisers. (The Publisher has reported on, and has given free publicity to, non-profit charitable organizations for more than 27 years.)

For promotion of for-profit businesses or for-profit events or for promotion of organizations outside of Pickens County, The Pickens County Chronicle appreciates your consideration of advertising, so that this newspaper can continue sharing news for our communities free to readers.
